Eli is a very, very sweet girl with a bit
of a mischievous side. She came to us through the Fairbanks Animal
Shelter and is sponsored by one of our wonderful doggy donors. When she first arrived she was in very bad shape, extremely thin, ragged coat and a terrible skin condition. We walked her through a few supplements but in the end all that was needed was lots of love, good food and a warm place to sleep. Again I was shocked to realize that it wasn't anything extensive that Eli needed, the only reason for the shape she was in was simple neglect.
So many of our shelter animals who are in rough shape need only a bit of time and love to blossom into the amazing animals they were born to be.
If there is such a thing as reincarnation she has got to be the second coming of Patsy not only is her size the same but her gentle nature and love of cuddling goes right along with what I enjoyed so much about our little Pats. Those special ones always seem to come around again and it is a delight to delve into old comfortable ways.
